We’re in Game Social (WinGS)
We’re in Games Social (WinGS) is a catered social event celebrating diversity in our industry and providing a safe and inclusive space for underrepresented groups. With this event we want to support a diverse and inclusive NZ games industry, that in turn creates diverse and inclusive games.
More information on this event will be coming soon.
This event is free to attend but due to limited space we will require those who want to attend to get a ticket to reserve their spot. As this is an event celebrating diversity in the industry all are welcome but underrepresented groups will get priority on the wait list once all the tickets are gone.
The Networking After Party is a cocktail event held after the conference where sponsors, attendees, vendors, and enthusiasts can mingle and learn more about the industry.
This year the afterparty for NZGDC 2021 will be held on Friday August 6th at The Grand located at 69 Courtenay Place – a short walk from Te Papa.
If you purchase a NZGDC conference pass a ticket to the After party is automatically included. Tickets however can be purchased for $30 if you are not attending the main conference.
Student Day is a separate event that is held after NZGDC with a focus on giving workshops and talks aimed towards preparing the next generation of game developers for the industry.
